On February 16th Alborosie’s new album Escape From Babylon To the Kingdom Of Zion will hit stores. Reigning from Sicily, Italy the singer Alberto D’Ascola a.k. a. Alborosie has been making waves on the reggae scene since his 2007 hit ‘Kingston Town’.

His vocal style blends classic and contemporary influences to form a unique and credible sound. His respect for reggae’s heritage is apparent from first listen. The artist recently re-located to Kingston, JA where he recorded and produced the bulk of this specially packaged album. Combining tracks from his previous two albums with 5 newly recorded songs, this album serves as an introduction and presents his biggest hits to date. The new single is Steppin’ Out featuring David Hinds of the famed reggae band Steel Pulse. In support of his new album, Alborosie will tour the West Coast in February and the UK in March.
