As the headline act 3canal took their audience through a well crafted set of some of the festive carnival songs, the full bodied punch of Rapso’s conscious lyrics, and some melodious refrains, all supported by their aptly named band the cut and clear crew, an eclectic group of fine cutting musicians.

At one point during “A Happy Song” a clever tongue in cheek composition, the Rapso trio had the packed amphitheater jumping to the strains of the very catchy refrain “na na na na na” It was with a bit of deft musicianship when they turned a corner and delivered what can easily be described as one of the more powerful songs for the night “Slaves” This song exemplifies the French proverb “Beaucoup de bruit, peu de fruit” In this gentle ballad 3canal really showed their musical maturity when they swung the mood and had the audience captivated as they asked “ Are we still Slaves in our minds to old notions and paradigms?” In the dying strains of the song they exhorted “Walk with me children, walk with me children, this one for the children” to a group of young enthralled kids at the front. 3canal and the cut and clear crew ended the set with a joyful rendition of “Islands” from their soon to be released album” Leaving a the stage in a wave and flurry, with the audience in thunderous applause. This is a group to experience as they make their way through Europe this summer casting their net of music like The Three Pied Pipers of the Caribbean.


The group is due to perfrom next at the 40,000 strong Antillean Festival in Hoogstraten before coming to London to put on the show of a lifetime at the neXt Level PoisonUK Ultimate All Inclusive Party on Carnival Saturday. "Ah Cyar Wait" is all that we have been hearing from people purchasing tickets for the event. With 3Canal you don't just get a performance but rather a show of monumental proportions, entertainment at its best.

Their appearance at our All Inclusive Party will be the highlight of a very classy Carnival Saturday evening in Radlett which is just north of London in Hertfordshire. There will be a free shuttle service from Edgeware Station which is at the end of the Northern Line to the party. This service will run every 30 minutes from the start of the party till the end.

Our AIP Party is an event to socialise with nice people in a scenic setting in the Hertfordshire countryside sipping cocktails by the poolside, eating mouthwatering Caribbean Cuisine and deserts on the croquet lawn and then taking in the show on the tennis court.We also have DJ music by DJ Spice out of NY along with our very own DJ Markee and Choice FMs Martin Jay.
