Brooklyn NY - On October 15th 2007 Mastamind Productions will release the second installation to there Christmas compilation A Mastamind Christmas. This Album will feature 15 tracks showcasing numerous artistes with accompanying music individually composed and produced by Award Winning Producer Shawn A. Noel.

This album carries listeners on a harmonious voyage of a West Indian Christmas, ensuring that they enjoy every aspect of Soca Parang, Classical Parang and Christmas Carols. Although the Christmas season seems short this year, this is a treat for those folks who intend to get in the spirit and enjoy the holidays. So while the fruits are soaking, and you and the rest of the family are painting, decorating the tree or participating in whatever traditional activity you enjoy you have enough time to get familiar with the songs of A Ma$tamind Christmas II. This year’s album will feature Leon Coldero, Third Bass, Eddie Charles, Patch, De Postman, Naki and a host of others.


When asked “What makes Christmas in the West Indies so special?” Noel responded, “It’s it the way we celebrate, the, food, the drinks, the lime and some good parang music.”
Shawn Noel started playing in a parang band Dulzura Caliente, at the early age of 8. He plays the cuatro, marac, box base, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and percussion. Noel and his wife started a music productions company in 2005 and to date have produced 6 albums. The company’s catalogue also includes the songs that won Bunji Garlin the Soca Monarch title in 2004 and 2005 and Shurwayne Winchester the title of Groovy Soca Monarch in 2006.
